The Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA)
is a trade association, formed in 1968 to provide programs
and services, as well as to support the interests of metal
building contractors and erectors. The MBCEA proudly boasts
membership from virtually every segment of the metal buildings

The New England Chapter (NEC) was formed to better serve the
needs of contractors and erectors doing business in the Northeast.
Membership in the MBCEA-NEC grants you the opportunity to become

Greetings from the President of the MBCEA-NEC (New England Chapter)
Welcome to the New England Chapter of the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association. Our primary purpose is to serve the contractors and erectors of the metal building industry and to respond appropriately to their needs, by way of our commitment to education, networking opportunities, and training.
I am honored to be addressing you as the President of the MBCEA – NEC for the second time. My first term, 1998 - 2001, was very rewarding as our association started a growth spurt that was continued and supported by the talented people that donate their time to serve as Officers and Board Members. We are once again fortunate to have a great team of Board Members in place to help better our industry.
With the economic conditions that have been challenging us the past several years, our organization’s membership has remained strong. This is, in part, due to the certification, training, and educational seminars provided at reduced costs to our members. In 2011 we satisfied OSHA’s Signals and Rigging requirements with a certification training session along with informational dinner meetings with presenters and discussion pertaining to Solar Collectors and the new insulation requirements. 2012 is shaping up with a First Aid/CPR Certification Class in March, dinner and educational discussion on Fire Resistant Metal Panels in May and our yearly golf outing in July.
