The New England Chapter (NEC) was formed to better serve the
needs of contractors and erectors doing business in the Northeast.

Welcome to the MBCEA-NEC website and to the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association. Much of the available information for both the New England Chapter and the MBCEA National Chapter can be found by navigating through and clicking on the topics in the upper left corner. If you have further questions please feel free to call any board member or myself and we would be pleased to assist you.
Our core chapter mission remains to "Support the professional advancement of Metal Building Contractors, Erectors and our Industry".
It is truly an honor to represent and work with some of the finest building contractors and industry members in the New England region. I strongly believe together we as an organization must continue to strive to improve ourselves, and each of our company’s respectively, by educating our personnel and practicing the proper techniques of construction and methods of business that will prove to be for the betterment of our own company and of our industry in general. It is after all, the satisfactory end result of a metal building project(s) being well done that spurs business for us all when future building prospects know and understand that metal building systems are not just an inexpensive, quick fix alternative from conventional construction, but an excellent quality, energy efficient and reliable building system that will last forever.
Through our dynamic DVD Training Series designed to educate management and assist in training field personnel, or our hands-on workshops and educational seminars; you as a builder or industry member will be afforded the opportunity to learn the latest in safety and steel erection techniques, new product and equipment introductions, and general business information.
You will also discover new relationships that definitely can benefit you and your company, if you care to make the effort. I have always found that our chapter members have not only a strong desire to improve their own company but also a sincere and honest approach to assisting others wanting to do the same.
Our well renowned Golf Tournament and Barbecue which is held annually in July at one of the fine courses throughout New England and our F-1 Racing event provide a tremendous opportunity to reward employees, treat customers or just join the pack and rub elbows with a great group of people that really enjoy having fun too!
I have personally been in a multitude of positions within this industry since 1974, and continue to explore new and interesting ways to improve our employees, our business and myself. The MBCEA has given me and our company another avenue to venture and assist in our desire to learn, develop and progress through the years. This organization is a unique tool available to all building contractors who utilize metal building systems, metal roofing and / or metal siding in their construction, and also to anyone who contributes as a support contractor, vendor or provides a professional service to this industry.
